
A master diver in the United States Navy is the highest level of warfare qualification a person can achieve in the diving industry. The most experienced, knowledgeable and trained enlisted person in the diving and underwater rescue industries is this master diver. At least 15 years' experience is required to become a master diver. You also need to have taken a specialization class. The United States Navy offers a specialization program that will allow you to earn master diver status.
PADI Master Scuba Diver
PADI Master Scuba Diver certification signifies that you have mastered scuba diving. This program is offered by several North American diving training agencies including the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Scuba Schools International and the Professional Scuba Diver Association. This course is considered the most prestigious level of dive certification. The course requires that you dive at least 30 feet below water.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver
If you want to learn more about scuba diving and are looking to advance your skills, the NAUI Master Scuba Diver program might be the right course for you. This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge necessary to organize dives for others. You'll be able to read underwater communications and use a compasses. You'll also learn how to lead a dive in a new location. This course includes a classroom session and two open-water dives.
NAUI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
A great way to enhance your diving experience is to take the NAUI EnrichedAir Master Diver (NITX). The course covers all aspects involved in enriched-air diving, including mixing Nitrox with oxygen. Students will learn to analyze the air mixture, how nitrogen and oxygen work together, and what hazards can be expected when handling each gas. They will also learn about Equivalent Air Depth, common gas mixing techniques, and the concept of Equivalent air depth. An open water diver can also take the enriched course. It is a prerequisite for using the enriched mixture.
NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver
You must take the required courses to achieve your goal of becoming a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Master Diver Instructor. This certification is a prerequisite for taking the NAUI FIT class, which prepares one to become a professional NAUI Instructor/Leader. Take the Try Scuba program to get started. This program teaches you the skills and knowledge necessary to safely dive in open waters.

NAUI First Aid Course
NAUI First Aid for master divers will teach you how to respond to all kinds of emergencies that could occur in the water. Apart from refresher sessions, this course will provide valuable information regarding new First Aid standards as well training best practices. NAUI First Aid will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to rapidly respond to an immediate emergency. It is hands-on and allows you to apply the skills you have learned in the classroom.
