Requirements

It takes dedication, patience, hard work, and dedication to reach the rank of Master Scuba Diver. Luckily, the PADI 'Internship' option can help you achieve this goal. The 'Practical Assessment' portion of the Divemaster course involves four separate sections with multiple performance requirements. Candidates are scored based on the following criteria: Confined water, open water, and certified divers. Practical Assessments are a test of professionalism, etiquette, knowledge, and safety in scuba diving.

The course options

When selecting a diving school or program, there are a few things you should know about completing a Master diving course. While you will require a diving license in order to dive, you have the option to choose the course you wish to pursue, such as scuba, snorkeling and deep diving. You will also need to know how a camera works and how to regulate your buoyancy. Even though diving is simple, the process of learning how to use a camcorder can be complicated. Always dive within your ability, regardless of what your instructor may suggest.

Exam

A PADI Master diving exam requires candidates to demonstrate their scuba skills and abilities. There will be a variety of skills required. Candidates will have to monitor their own progress during, after, or before a dive. Each skill must be demonstrated with a score of at least four to pass this exam. Liability releases

A Master diving liability waiver is a document that instructors and dive operators must sign in order for their clients to be allowed to participate on scuba diving trips. This is vital as a diver can sue the company that made the equipment or the rental company who provided it if the equipment malfunctions. Ralph Huntziner filed a California class-action lawsuit against Aqua Lung. Aqua Lung's computer for diving malfunctioned, leading to serious injuries and even the death of the diver. The device informs divers of the remaining air time and pressure. As a result, a class action lawsuit was filed and a settlement reached for millions of dollars.
