It is important to be familiar with your equipment in order to improve your technical diving skills. This will allow you to quickly find it in case of a problem. TDI

NAUI

The NAUI technical divership skills course requires 20 hours classroom time. It focuses on advanced dive skills and techniques. The course also covers advanced lifesaving, rescue and contingency procedures. For students to enroll in this course, they must have advanced scuba diver certification or an equivalent. The course also requires that students are at least 18 years old and meet certain pre-requisites.

GUE

The GUE technical diving skills certification includes skills to perform rescue and technical dive operations. These skills include the ability switch regulators and valves underwater, manage an unconscious diver, and use GUE equipment within the water. Open water skills such as ascent and descent are also required for scuba divers. In addition to being able to swim at least 500 meters (450m) with one breath hold, divers must be proficient in basic equipment and recognize their diving limits.

DSAT

In the early 2000s, DSAT TecRec was created to teach technical diving skills. These courses have always produced highly-trained technical divers. It uses the latest training materials and follows a logically integrated course structure. Students can learn at their own pace, with the flexibility to progress at any level.

PADI

You can sign up for a PADI technical diver skills course if diving is your passion. PADI Tec courses cover everything, from planning your dives through to using decompression tools. Learn how to decompress at depths of up to 50m (165ft) and how to use a decompression software program. There are many levels to this course. The ultimate goal is professional technical diving.
