A Dive Specialist is a subset that allows divers to gain valuable skills in different areas. A Specialty allows divers to make an impact on every dive. This type of diver can be specialized in one area, or in a particular kind of equipment. Some of these specialties include Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx), Boat Diving, and Deep Scuba. Enriched Air Nitrox
To learn more about the many benefits of enriched water, you can become a PADI Enriched Air(Nitrox) Diver. The specialty course involves hands-on exercises and independent study. There are also two optional Nitrox dives. You can take the course online or offline and complete it at your own pace, no matter where you are diving. A scuba tank with special oxygen service standards is required to complete this specialization.
