Gas leak at UI Ice Arena
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has issued an Illini-Alert following a gas leak at its ice arena. The building, which is located at 406 E. Armory Ave. had to be evacuated in precaution after Ameren Illinois crews noticed a gas leak. To prevent further contamination, firefighters closed off a sideway leading to arena. The leak may have come from below the building.
