The United States Navy master diver is the highest level in the diving industry. These enlisted personnel have the most knowledge, experience, and training in all aspects diving and underwater salvage. To be considered a master diver, you must have at least 15 years of experience and have completed a specialization course. A specialization course can help you earn master diver status in the United States Navy.
