Sipadan

Sipadan, one of the most popular spots in the Philippines for divers, lures them to dive. This area is located in the middle the coral triangle, making it one among the most biodiverse marine ecosystems in the world. The area is home to many species of marine life, including turtles, lionfish, sharks, and turtles. Sipadan has visibility of between 15 m and 40 m, so it's easy to explore the underwater realm.

Shark Reef Marine Reserve

There are more than 5,000 species of seaweed and mollusks, and 125 shark types. Heart Reef, which contains a variety of fish and corals is the most impressive, is home to many amazing species. This magnificent structure, which measures 17 meters wide, is breathtaking from the sky.

Half Moon Caye Wall

The spectacular dive site is home many species of marine life. Recent research has revealed that the wall is home to sharks who recently made it their home. Keep an eye out for brain coral and sea fans while you are on the wall. There may be a few turtles. You can also explore underwater tunnels that run between coral outcrops if you feel adventurous.


Yongala

You have many options when it comes to diving on the SS Yongala. Townsville is only 3 hours by fast boat from Townsville. Liveaboards depart every day. Advanced certified divers are best suited to these dives, which are around 30m deep. A day trip to the SS Yongala is an option if you are able to afford it. The trip lasts approximately three hours, and includes two tanks.

Punta Vicente Roca

Punta VicenteRoca dive site is unique in that it is 200km from the closest inhabited island. You can see many sea creatures here including the Galapagos Marine Iguana, red-lipped Batfish and schooling blackstriped Salema. The endemic Galapagos flightless comorants can also be captured by photographers.

Bonaire

Scuba divers will be delighted by the diversity and beauty of Bonaire's diving sites. The most notable dive sites are located on the island's leeward shore, such as the 1000 Steps, which is named after the long narrow staircase that leads to its entrance. With clear water and lots of schooling fish, this site is a favorite among divers and snorkellers. This site is a combination of the popular Karpata dive site and offers spectacular drop-offs as well as massive coral formations.
